Sheena D’Souza – Keyboard Artist


Sheena began by playing in her school band and for the children’s choir of St. Francis De Sales Cathedral, now a Choir master & keyboard player for the Youth Choir at Nagpur. She started to appear for grade exams and topped the Grade 5 Keyboard exam from Trinity College of London. She is also among the handful of people in the city who have passed the Grade 8 keyboard exam from Trinity College of London. While most girls take to singing, She was the only female keyboard player in central India that too playing Rock music! This was proven when Symfonera participated in the ‘Tata Docomo Rockstar 2012’ wherein more than 160 bands of the state and central India participated. That’s when Sheena won the award for Best keyboard player and Symfonera won the Rock Band competition which included a huge cash prize, a brand new motor bike and a chance to perform live on air for 60 minutes! Presently, she is playing with ‘Deep Blue’ – an English music band from the golden oldies of Frank Sinatra, Elvis and the Beatles to a lot of new age dance music.
